 Wardrobe:
-          White classy (strapless) dress and black heels
-          Black denim Jeans, Black Hoodie and black t-shirt
 Timeline:
Setup time- 13:20 to 13:30 (Model should be ready by this time)
Shoot starts- 13:35
Shoot finishes- 13:45
 Concept: This photo shoot would be split into two. The first shoot would represent the R&B  side on my magazine. This would be a classy shoot and with my model in white- this would represent the purity of the art form. This may also be seen as a sensual. The next shoot, my model would be dressed in black representing the rough and dark side of Hip-Hop, giving my model the persona that she is a rapper.

Adobe Bridge notes




For this photo shoot you will take a lot of photos and you will need to save them in one place, in Adobe Bridge. This what you need to do:

·         In Adobe Bridge Open the folder that you have saved you photos from your file
·         Create a contact sheet- you should have a range of photos that you will use
·         Click film strip
·         Make a print screen of Adobe Bridge and then place it on blog
·         Discuss two of your chosen images in detail
·         Upload your final image
·         Explain why you chose it, where will it appear on your magazine. Does it fit the content where it will appear in. explain framing and the type of shot


Photo Studio Notes

Backdrop: 
·         White or black backdrop (your choice)
·         Infinitive white backdrop
·         Have you model stand 5-6 feet from backdrop as the could bleach into the photo if too close

Lighting: 
·         You don’t want the light directed on the backdrop only the model
·         House lights must be off
·         Flash heads are the lights you will shine on the model
·         Flash heads are adjustable
·         Back of the flash head: test light, music icon makes light flash quickly or slowly, plus and minus from 1 to 6
·         Transmitter goldox: switch off when finished
·         3 point lighting for portrait pictures
·         Key light
·         Fil light
·         Hair light / separation light
·         3:1 lighting ratio: main lights on 4, fil light on 3, hair light on 1.5- this stops bleaching out
·         Soft boxes
·         Snoot light

Camera: 
·         DSLR Camera
·         Nikon camera d7000
·         17 million megapixels
·         2 card memory slot: card reader needed to download images
·         Press play button to view images
·         Settings: A and S (Aperture priority and Shutter priority)
·         Shutter image for moving images
·         Aperture image for still images
·         18 to 105 for close up and full body
·         Reflectors: used for a warm or cool tone





Photoshop Notes

  • Press the file button to create a new Photoshop document
  • Click on preset, and change to international paper (this will make the page A4)
  • Press the button view then click on the ruler
  • Use the margins to drag your rulers on to the page
  • Remember that all images and text must be on different layers
  • All layers must be above the background layer
  • The layer that is highlighted is the layer you are working with
  • when you have finished work, save the file as a JPEG if it is you final product
  • if it is not your final product then save as Photoshop file so you can edit after
